The democratic renewal of Macedonia ( Macedonian Democrat renewal in Macedonia ) is the green political party of the Republic of Macedonia . This party is actively promoting the green international in Macedonia. The political goals of the Democratic Renewal are: green jobs, renewable energy, in the areas of human rights, democracy, ecology, tourism, eco-agriculture, women's empowerment, culture, more funds for science and education, etc. In its first elections, July 5, 2006, the party won 1.9% and 1 out of 120 seats. Since 2008, Democratic Renewal has been part of the coalition of the ruling party of Macedonia VMRO-DPMNE. In the parliamentary elections of 2008 and 2011, the Democratic Renewal in the framework of the coalition took 1st place.
