Danil van Dyck ( Dutch: Daniel van Dijk , May 10, 1907 - November 22, 1986 ) - Dutch cyclist, Olympic champion in 1928.

Biography
Born in 1907 in The Hague . In 1928, at the Olympic Games in Amsterdam, he became the champion in tandem (together with Bernardus Lena ). In 1937, after the birth of his first child, he completed his sports career.
During World War II, he used a bicycle to ride with his wife for food. Once he was detained by a German patrol, but thanks to his sprint skill he was able to escape.
Currently, the bike on which van Dyck and Lena won the Olympic gold medal is on display at the Olympic Sports Museum in Amsterdam. In honor of Daniel van Dyck, one of the streets in the Amsterdam-Nord area is named.
