“Syretsky guy” is also known as “Dubki” Park ( Ukrainian: “Syretsky guy” ) - a forest park and a park-monument of landscape gardening art of national importance, located on the territory of the Shevchenkovsky and Podolsky districts of the Kiev City Council ( Ukraine ). History
The forest park was created on the site of natural plantations (the rest of the forest) in 1952 . The forest park received the status of a park-monument of landscape gardening art of national importance by Decree of the Board of the State Committee of the Ukrainian SSR on Nature Protection of July 26, 1972 No. 22. By the decision of the Kiev City Council of February 17, 1994 No. 14, the park area was reduced by 10 hectares to 194 hectares.
Description
The park is located in the Syrets river valley between the historical places of Syrets (including Nizhny Syrets and the former village of Syrets), Belichye pole , Nivki , Sofiyivka (inside the park), Floriculture , Degtyari and the Kvazar-Micro plant. The park is limited by streets and their buildings (residential and non-residential type) Belitskaya , Gomel, Rozovaya, Olzhicha (in the north), Yasnogorsk and railway lines (in the east), Saratov (in the west), Salyutnaya, Janusha Korchak, Tsukidze and Magistralnaya streets (on South). The territory of the park is divided by the streets of Syretskaya , Vladimir Salsky , Stetsenko (along which the border between the districts of the City Council passes north of Podolsky, south - Shevchenkovsky). In the park (northeastern and southern sections), the Syrets River and its tributary Brod Creek (central section) flow, where they are represented by a natural channel with a valley. To the south is Nyvky Park; to the west along Tiraspolskaya Street adjoins the Syretsky Dendrological Park .

Nature
The area of the park is divided by yars and the Syrets river, as well as by lakes. Plantations of the park are represented by the centuries-old oaks dominating here and, in the northwestern part, pines and lindens . Also in recent decades, ordinary spruce, species of the birch, maple, hornbeam, walnut, alder, willow, poplar, and juniper species have been planted here.
Syretsky guy serves as a resting place for citizens, because in addition to natural plantings, the park has recreation areas, a children's playground, and also, Dubki restaurant is located at 1 Stetsenko Street.
