Pelignian was supposedly from an Italian patrician family. He was included in the Senate from the praetor rank. It is known that Pelignian was a legate (in which year, in which province - is unknown). In 231, he served as ordinary consul along with Lucius Tiberius Claudius Pompeian . The dedication to Pelignian of Ardea has survived [1] .
