History
Construction
The construction of CITY Shopping Center was started in 2013 [1] . The design of the 4-storey building (3 floors + ground floor) in a modern style in the form of a step pyramid was developed by the Turkish company Erozu Architects. The total investment amounted to 2.5 billion tenge [2] .
Opening
The grand opening of CITY Shopping Center took place on April 3, 2015 with the participation of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev [3] . The shopping center provided jobs for about 500 people [4] .
Location, features and schedule
CITY Shopping Center is located in the 12th microdistrict of Aktobe, along the central avenue of Abilkayyr Khan . Nearby are the Dastan Hotel Aktobe Hotel and the Dastan Business Center, Nur Gasyr Mosque, Unity and Concord Boulevard , Aktobe Azhary and Aray large residential complexes, and MEGA Aktobe shopping and entertainment center. Right near the entrance to the shopping center is the bus stop "12th microdistrict."
The total area of the center is 8000 m². On the top floor is the restaurant "CITY Restaurant & Lounge" with a summer terrace and panoramic views, as well as the Dostar billiard club and two VIP rooms, for a total of 300 seats. On the ground floor of the shopping complex are the food court "PiPaSa" and the clothing store "KOTON". Altyn Tas and Sapphire jewelry stores, Fresh Line organic cosmetics department, Beauty Planet and KOTON store are located on the ground floor of the CITY Shopping Center. Near the shopping center provides car parking for 100 places [5] .
