Rubus ceratifolius (Latin) is a species of dicotyledonous plants of the Rubus genus ( Rubus ) of the Rosaceae family. First described by the botanist A. Van de Beck in 1997 [2] .

Distribution and habitat
Endemic of the Netherlands [3] [4] , known from sites in the vicinity of The Hague and Haarlem , as well as from Bergen op Zom [5] .
It grows in forests, on forest edges and among other bushes [5] .
Botanical description
The leaves are complex, consist of five slightly pubescent, bare at the top of the leaves from elliptical to almost round shape [5] .
The shoots are covered with styloid, jagged, slightly flattened spines [5] .
The pyramidal or cylindrical inflorescence, covered with spikes and short hairs, carries white flowers with petals of wide obverse ovoid or elliptical shape [5] .
The fruit is pubescent [5] .
It blooms in July and August [5] .
Close to the sight of Rubus gelertii [5] .
