The 69th Tony Award ceremony for merits in the field of American theatrical art was held on June 7, 2015 in Radio City Music Hall ( New York , USA ) and broadcast live on CBS television [1] . The presenters were Alan Cumming and Kristin Chenoweth. [2]

Entitlement

Only theatrical performances, staged in the 2014–2015 season until April 23, 2014, were eligible to take part in the competition [1] . The nominees were announced on April 28, 2015 [2] .

Ceremony

Darren Criss , Laura Osnes and Siera Boggess met the guests and nominees of the ceremony on the red carpet.

During the ceremony, their performances were presented by the musicals “ American in Paris ”, “ The King and I ”, “ Dismissal in the City ”, “ In the Twentieth Century ”, “ Visit ”, “ Merry House ”, “Something Rotten!”, “ Magic Country ” and “ Slurry ” [3] [4] .

Among those announcing the results were such famous personalities as Josh Groban , Rose Byrne , Jason Alexander , Neil Patrick Harris , Bradley Cooper , Sutton Foster , Bobby Cannavale , Anna Klamsky , Rita Wilson, and others [5] .
