“Johnny Cash” is a song by American country singer Jason Aldin , released on February 5, 2007 as the first single from his second studio album, Relentless (2007). The song was written by Rodney Clauson, Vicki McGee and John Rich (from Big & Rich and Lonestar ). The producer was Michael Knox . The single reached sixth place on the Hot Country Songs country chart and became the fourth consecutive single in the Top 10 of this hit parade ^[1] . The song received moderate reviews from music critics and online publications ^[2] ^[3] , and the single was certified in RIAA gold status ^[4] .
