Biography
He studied vocals in Italy. In 1923-1931 he was a soloist of the Estonian Opera and Ballet Theater . In 1928-1941 and in 1944-1966 he taught at the Tallinn Conservatory , in 1951 he became its professor. Among the students are Tiit Kuuzik , Hendrik Krumm and others.
He was married to the daughter of Jan Poska - Tatiana Poska-LAAMAN (1900-1988) - Doctor of Journalism (later she married Edward LAAMAN), who was the chairman of the Union of Estonian mothers.
Member of the CPSU since 1946 [1] .
