The Leninsky rural district is an abolished administrative-territorial unit that existed on the territory of the Istra district of the Moscow region in 1994-2006.

The Lenin Village Council was formed in the early years of Soviet power. According to 1919, he was part of the Luchinsky volost of the Zvenigorod district of Moscow province .
In 1920, the Lenin s / s was abolished.
In 1923, the Lenin s / s was restored as part of the Pavlovsky volost of the Voskresensky district by separating the s / s from Talitsky .
In 1924, the Lenin s / s was again abolished, and in 1927 again restored [2] .
In 1929, Leninsky s / s was assigned to the Voskresensky district of the Moscow district of the Moscow region.
On August 31, 1930, the Voskresensky district was renamed Istrinsky.
On July 17, 1939, the Talitsky s / s (villages Sadki and Talitsy ) was annexed to the Leninsky s / s.
On June 14, 1954, the Kozino-Nefedyevsky Village Council was attached to the Leninsky s / s.
On August 5, 1954, the village of Snegiri received the status of a working village and was removed from the Leninsky s / s.
On December 7, 1957, the Istra district was abolished and the Leninsky s / s was transferred to the Krasnogorsk district .
On August 18, 1960, the Leninsky s / s was transferred to the restored Istra district.
On February 1, 1963, the Istra district was abolished and the Leninsky s / s entered the Solnechnogorsk rural area . January 11, 1965 Leninsky s / s was returned to the restored Istra district.
On December 3, 1965, the villages of Zhelyabino , Kozino and Nefedyevo were transferred from Leninsky s / s to administrative subordination to the working village of Nakhabino, Krasnogorsk District.
February 3, 1994 Leninsky s / s was transformed into the Leninsky rural district [3] .
During the municipal reform of 2004-2005, the Lenin rural district ceased to exist as a municipal unit. At the same time, the village of the Dedovo boarding school and the village of Talitsy entered the urban settlement of Dedovsk , and the rest of the settlements into the urban settlement of Snegiri [4] .
On November 29, 2006, the Leninsky Rural District was excluded from the accounting data of the administrative-territorial and territorial units of the Moscow Region [5] .
