Qualification

Judo competitions at the 2015 European Games were held in the capital of Azerbaijan , in the city of Baku from 25 to 28 June . 18 sets of awards have been played. The competition, which was attended by 350 athletes (209 men and 141 women), was held in the Heydar Aliyev Arena .

The fact that in the framework of the European Games 2015 will be held competitions and judo was known in 2012 [1] .

In April 2014 it became known that in the framework of judo competitions will be held among Paralympic athletes . Competitions were held in two categories - in weight of 90 kg and higher in men and up to 75 kg in women [2] .

In February 2015, it became known that the European Judo Union deprived the British Glasgow of the right to host the 2015 European Championship, which was to be held in April. The 2015 European Judo Championship was held in Baku within the framework of the European Games [3] .
