For the first time, the group announced itself on November 7, 2013, releasing the Internet single "Distant", which in less than a month received wide coverage on social networks. ^[1] . At the same time, the community of the group on VK.com gathered a lot of positive reviews that began to come from all over Russia and neighboring countries. On November 28, the band released their second online single, Victims, which was also warmly received by the Internet and music critics.

On December 25, the band released their debut mini-album Echoes, which included four songs (including two previously released online singles - "Distant" and "Victims").

March 1, 2014 in Kostroma, the first video of the group for the song "Distant" was shot. ^[2]

In late November and early December, the group held their first full-fledged concerts in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Kostroma and Voronezh. After the performance in the capital, Ocean Jet began to collaborate with the label Kometa Music, which worked with such bands and artists as Naadia, Artemiev, Glintshake, Esthetix and others.

March 16, 2015 released the first full-length album "Vengeance" ^[3] .

At the same time, drummer Nikolai Dementyev joined the group, with whom the group began rehearsing for concerts in support of the album "Vengeance".

In spring and summer, the group visited Moscow and St. Petersburg both with solo concerts and participating in various festivals, including the VKontakte Festival , Lenovo Vibe Fest, Stereoleto, Moscow Music Week, Art-Ravine, VW & Audi Fest.

The band’s music got into Maxim Kulagin’s short film “The Hijacker” ^[4] , which was nominated for a special jury prize at the Kinotavr festival in the “Short meter” genre ^[5] .

On December 2, Ocean Jet won the Sennheiser Become a D1 Star contest, outpacing some 600 bands and gaining unanimous recognition from the jury.

March 3, 2016 the group released a new mini-album "The Word Never Dropped", which became a new round in the work of the group. The sound of the songs changed, and the lyrics became more autobiographical.

In March, the television series TNT released the television series " Police Officer from Rublevka ", in the soundtrack to which was the song "Weak".

On June 20, the group becomes the official Sennheiser endorser.

On October 5, a large-scale tour in Russia began, called "Ash And Dust Tour 2016", which included more than 30 cities from St. Petersburg to Krasnoyarsk.

During the filming of the short film "The Hijacker," the group met Alexander Petrov , who played the main role in the film. Later, the actor comes up with the idea of ​​the drama show “#BE BORN” ^[6] , which combines poetry, cinema, music and theater. Ocean Jet become the musical heart of the project and create all the musical design during the performance. The premiere of "# BORN" took place on November 23 at the Moscow site of Yota Space. The official soundtrack of the drama show is the track "Breaking the Stones". In anticipation of the premiere (11/14), the same video goes on the same track, in which Alexander Petrov starred with Irina Starshenbaum . During the existence of the project, more than 30 shows were played in Russia and neighboring countries (Belarus, Latvia), which were seen by more than 100,000 viewers, movie theaters were screened in more than 100 cities, the television premiere took place on the STS channel for a multi-million audience. The show was played at one of the largest and most famous venues, including CHAPTER CLUB Green Concert, A2 Green Concert, Event Hall, Adrenaline Stadium and the Invasion Festival.

On April 2, 2017, the second part of the Ash And Dust Tour 2017 tour in Russia began. As part of the tour, the group visited 14 cities.

On December 7, the release of the second full-length album “Glowing Black” took place. On December 16, the group presented a new album in Moscow at the Glastonberry club and on December 17 in St. Petersburg at the UPITER club.

In the same year, the Into The Storm music video received an award at the International Manhattan Film Festival in the Best Cinematography category.

In March 2018, the NTV channel released the television series Curse of the Sleeping, the composer of which was the vocalist of Max Scotch, several songs of the group were sounded in the series, and the musicians themselves played an episodic role in one of the series.

On November 7, Ocean Jet's team set off on a tour of 21 cities.

In early March 2019, it became known that Ocean Jet was selected as a guest artist of the famous British band Enter Shikari , who came to Russia with the Stop The Clocks tour. Ocean Jet performed at the Moscow venue Adrenaline Stadium ^{[7] [8]} and St. Petersburg A2 Green Concert.

More than a year after the release of the album “Glowing Black”, the group announced a new single “Beast” ^[5] , the presentation of which took place on April 19 in Moscow and on April 26 in St. Petersburg.

On June 14, the Evening Urgant program was released on Channel One ; guests were actor Alexander Petrov and Ocean Jet.
