Biography
Born on August 29 ( September 10 ), 1890 in Kharkov in the family of a sculptor , who came from Italy.
In 1912 he graduated from Kharkov University . Since 1913 he lived and worked in Moscow, was engaged in scientific research at the Department of Experimental Biology of Moscow City People's University. A. L. Shanyavsky under the guidance of the biologist N. K. Koltsov . In 1919, Vladimir Natalie created and until 1930 led the “Biosad”, later renamed the Moscow Pedagogical Biostation.
In 1919-1921 he taught at the Tver Pedagogical Institute , in 1921-1960 - at the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute. V.I. Lenin and the Moscow Regional Pedagogical Institute. N.K. Krupskaya , where he taught general biology, zoology of invertebrates, Darwinism and genetics.
He lived in Moscow on 4th Tverskaya-Yamskaya Street, 12; Sadovaya-Kudrinskaya street, 7; at the pedagogical biostation and on Novopeschanaya Street 24. Died on November 6, 1965 in Moscow.
