The Krasnoyarsk City Council of Deputies (City Council) is an elected local government body representing the interests of the population of the city of Krasnoyarsk and making decisions in a collegial manner. City Council deputies are elected for 5 years in the amount of 36 people according to a mixed, majority-proportional system .

History
On July 2, 1917, according to the results of the vote, the City Duma was formed. Of its 83 members, 41 — the Bolsheviks , 27 — the Socialist Revolutionaries , 9 — the Cadets, and other mandates went to representatives of public groups. Prior to this, "deputies" were called ("vowels"). In 1920, the elections of the Krasnoyarsk City Council of workers, peasants and soldiers' deputies were held. [one]
