Vladimir Olegovich Semipyadny (born April 22, 1961 , Chisinau ) is a Moldavian and Soviet athlete and coach ( table tennis ), general secretary (2003) and president (2014) of the Table Tennis Federation of the Republic of Moldova [2] . Master of sports of international class [3] . Honored Coach of the Republic of Moldova.

The nine-time Moldova table tennis champion in singles (1983, 1987, 1989, 1995, 1996, 1999, 2002, 2004 and 2009) and as a member of the team (Chisinau - 1980, 1981, 1982; Franzelutsa - 1995, 1996 , 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2015).
He started to play table tennis at the age of 12 years. Pupil of Grigory Lazarevich Greenberg [2] . Education - Chisinau State University ("Finance and Credit"). Member of the USSR championships and USSR cups in the national team of the Moldavian SSR. He participated in 10 world championships and 8 European championships as part of the national table tennis team of the Republic of Moldova.
Among the students of V. Semipyadny is Mihai Shargu (three-time bronze medalist at the 2006 European Championship among cadets, Sarajevo ), Andrey Putsuntike (winner of the gold and silver medals "Eurominichamps" 2010 and 2011 among mini-cadets, winner of the "World Cadet Chellenge" among cadets paired and silver medalist in team competitions as part of the European team (2014, Barbados), winner of the European Championship bronze medal in the men's couple among juniors under 18 years old, Portugal, 2017), Evgeni Dadekin (Moldova champion in singles among adults), Andrei Stirbu (h mpion Moldovan singles among adults), Vladislav Ursu (two-time bronze medalist of the European championship among cadets in the team competition and mixed doubles (2015, Bratislava ) and European champion among cadets in pairs male winner (2016, Croatia), the owner of one from 4 licenses for the right to participate from Europe in the Summer, Youth Olympic Games in Argentina in 2018).
