Biography
Born on June 20, 1873 in the Puddle village of Strezhov in the family of a teacher Mato Rizo. From 1884 to 1890 he studied at the gymnasium in Cottbus and from 1891 to 1893 - at the gymnasium in Frankfurt am Main. Then, until 1901, he studied theology in Berlin, after which he was appointed priest in the Lutheran parish in Janszewiec , where he served as rector until his death. Together with Benjamin Begar, he published the magazine Wósadnik .
In 1911, he was elected head of the Lower Luzhitsa community in the village of Borkov . Participated in the Lower Luzhny Young Serb movement.
He published his poems in the newspaper Bramborski Serbski Casnik . Some of his works were used for church chants in the Puddle songbook “ Wosadnik ”.
He suffered from heart disease, from which he died on December 16, 1917 in Cottbus.
