Biography
Born on April 27, 1945 in the Pervomaisky farm of the Mechetinsky district of the Rostov Region .
In military service since 1963.
In 1968 he graduated from the Higher Naval School named after M.V. Frunze . After graduation, he served in the Baltic Fleet .
After graduating from the Military Diplomatic Academy in 1975, he served in the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the USSR Armed Forces.
He served 25 years in the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff. Rear Admiral since 1993 (Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of 19.4.1993 No. 464), subsequently (no later than 2000) he was awarded the military rank of Admiral.
In 1999 to 2000, he was the head of the Military Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation .
Full member of the Academy of Military Sciences, doctor of military sciences, professor. The author of more than 50 scientific papers.
He died after a short serious illness on August 28, 2000 in Moscow.
