Geography
It is located 47 km (in a straight line) northwest of the district center of Peno , on the western slope of the Valdai Upland . The last village with a permanent population (2 people in 2008) in the western half of the Rune settlement.
History
For the first time, the village of Dobroe was mentioned in 1495 as part of the Veli Novgorod volost, with the center of the ancient administrative unit being a dozen.
In the List of Populated Places of the Tver Province of 1859 [2] in the Ostashkov Uyezd there is the owner village Dobroe at Lake Spassky, 5 yards, 33 residents, an Orthodox church.
In 1940, the Good Center of the Dobrovsky Village Council of the Penovsky District of the Kalinin Region .
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied in September 1941, liberated in January 1942.
In 1997, the village of Dobroe as part of the Slautinsky rural district, there are 2 farms, 6 inhabitants.
