College Football

During his studies at the University of Virginia in 2002-2004, Freeman played for the university team at the NCAA . During the summer off-season at colleges in 2003, he played for the Texas Spurs club inUSL Premier Development League , Fourth Division ^[1] .

Club career

At the 2005 MLS Super Draft , Freeman was selected in the first round under number seven by the Colorado Rapids Club ^[2] . His professional debut took place in a match against Kansas City Wizards on April 2. In total, in the 2005 season he played in 20 matches, of which 14 left in the starting lineup. On February 12, 2013, Freeman signed a contract with the New York Cosmos rookie club of the North American Football League , which was supposed to start playing in the league from the fall of the season ^[11] . He made his debut at NASL with the club on August 3 in a match against Fort Lauderdale Strikers . He finished the year with a victory in the Sokker Bowl 2013, in which Cosmos outplayed Atlanta Silverbacks 1-0. Team Career

As part of the US youth team, Freeman participated in the 2005 World Championship among youth teams in the Netherlands ^[20] , where he played in all four matches of the Americans and scored one goal ^[21] .

In March 2008, the US Olympic team , which included Freeman ^[22] , took second place at , and thus qualified for the Beijing Summer Olympic Games football tournament ^[23] .
