In wrestling competitions, 24 sets of awards were played. 8 for men and women in freestyle wrestling and 8 in Greco-Roman. The tournament was held according to the Olympic system with the elimination. Participants who lost in their duels to future finalists of the competition fell into the consolation round. Each match consists of two rounds of 3 minutes, the winner is the athlete who scores the most points. At the end of the bout, depending on the results, classification points are awarded to athletes in each round. [2]

Mountain bike competitions were held in a bicycle park built specifically for games. The distance for men was 36.7 km, and for women 27.9 km.

  Kayaking and Canoeing

Kayaking and canoeing competitions were held in the city of Mingechevir on the basis of the Olympic training and sports center "Kyur" . 15 sets of awards were played. In each discipline, the competition took place in three stages: preliminary round, semi-final and final.

  Karate

Karate competitions were held in the Baku Crystal Hall . In each weight category, 8 athletes took part, divided into 2 groups. From each group 2 athletes entered the semifinals, who played medals of the European Games according to the playoff system.

Triathlon competitions consisted of 3 stages - swimming (1.5 km), cycling (40 km), running (9.945 km).

  Taekwondo

Taekwondo competitions are held in the elimination system. To win the tournament, the athlete must win 4 victories. Taekwondo players who lost to future finalists during the competition take part in the consolation tournament for two bronze medals.
