Biography

Member of the CPSU (b) since 1931 . He graduated from the Moscow Pedagogical Institute. IN AND. Lenin and graduate school MIFLI (1934). Doctor of Philosophy (1964), professor, Honored Scientist of the Georgian SSR.

  • In 1934 - 1937 he was a teacher of philosophy at universities in Moscow and Tbilisi.
  • In 1937 - Assistant Secretary of the Central Committee of the CP (b) of Georgia.
  • In 1938 - 1939 - Head of the Department of Propaganda and Agitation of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Bolsheviks of Georgia.
  • In 1939 - 1943 - Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party (b) of Georgia for propaganda and agitation.
  • In 1943 - 1946 - People's Commissar - Minister of State Control of the Georgian SSR .
  • In 1946 - 1948 - First Secretary of the Embassy of the USSR in France .
  • In 1949 - 1950 - head of the Information Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USSR.
  • From April 22 to November 24, 1950 [1] [2] - Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Envoy of the USSR to Syria and Lebanon concurrently.
  • From April to June 1953 - Director of the Party School under the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Georgia.
  • Since 1955 - rector of the Georgian State Theater Institute.

In 1952-1953 and 1953-1955 he was imprisoned.
