Geography
The municipality is located in the regional park Massif de Bog. Pallou is located 1 km northeast of Albertville , 32.06 km from Annecy . To Paris - 621 km on the road, 466 km geographically. The village is located at an altitude of 348 to 845 meters above sea level, the average height - 484 m [3] .

Population
According to the 2012 census, the population of Pallu was 732 people (52.6% of men and 47.4% of women). The population of the commune by age range was as follows: 18.2% - residents under 14 years old, 12.0% - between 15 and 29 years old, 19.9% ββ- from 30 to 44 years old, 22.6% - from 45 to 59 years and 27.2% - at the age of 60 years and older. Among residents older than 15 years, 57.3% were married, 28.3% were not married, 7.1% were divorced, 7.2% were widowed [5] .
Among the population over 15 years old (561 people), 9.1% of the population had no education, 11.6% had only primary education, 6.0% had only graduated from college, 27.4% received a certificate of high school graduation, 19, 2% - completed full secondary education or secondary specialized education, 14.1% - completed shortened higher education and 12.7% - completed full higher education [5] .
In 2012, out of 464 people of working age (from 15 to 64 years), 346 were economically active, 118 inactive (activity indicator 74.7%, in 2007 - 73.2%). During the 1st round of the 2012 vote, 27.66% of the population voted for Nicolas Sarkozy , 19.57% for Francois Hollande, and 22.98% for Marine Le Pen . In the second round, 57.02% voted for Nicolas Sarkozy [9] .
