Biography

He graduated from the Moscow Higher Technical School named after N. Bauman in 1941.

Welding Wizard at the Stalkonstruktsiya Moscow Trust Works Department (1941). Welding engineer, head of the welding department at aircraft factories (1941-1947).

Since 1947, a researcher, since 1955 a senior researcher at the Research Institute of Technology and Production Management.

Candidate of Technical Sciences (1953).

Awards and prizes

  • The third degree Stalin Prize (1950) - for the development and introduction of new methods of electric arc welding methods—
  • Lenin Prize (1963) - for the development and introduction into the industry of a new process of automatic and semi-automatic welding in carbon dioxide with a melting electrode.
