Content
History
The canton was formed as a result of the 2015 reform [1] . It consisted of the abolished canton of Odryuik and separate communes of cantons of Ardre and Kale-Est .

Policy
In the presidential election of 2017, the inhabitants of the canton gave Marine Le Pen 37.5% of the votes in the 1st round against 17.1% from Emmanuel Macron , 16.6% from Jean-Luc Melenchon and 14.9% from Francois Fillon ; in the 2nd round in the canton Le Pen won, receiving 56.2% of the vote. (2012 Round 1: Marine Le Pen - 27.7%, Francois Hollande - 27.3%, Nicolas Sarkozy - 23.3%; Round 2: Hollande - 51.9%).
Since 2015, the canton of the Pas-de-Calais Council is represented by Marc Pierre-Henri Dumont and Odruik Nicole Chevalier (both Republicans ).
