Luigi Trombetta ( Italian: Luigi Trombetta ; February 3, 1820 , Lanuvio , Papal States - January 17, 1900 , Rome , Kingdom of Italy ) - Italian Curial Cardinal, a doctor of both rights . Deputy Secretary of the Holy Congregation for bishops and monks from February 24, 1863 to June 20, 1893. Pro-secretary of the Holy Congregation for bishops and monks from June 20, 1893 to December 24, 1896. Secretary of the Holy Congregation for bishops and monks from December 24 June 19, 1899. Cardinal Deacon since June 19, 1899, with the titular diaconia of Sant Eustacio from June 22, 1899.
