Crater Description
The immediate neighbors of the crater are Belyaev Crater in the northwest; Mosquito crater in the northeast; Nagaoka Crater in the east; Kolschüter Crater in the southeast; St. John Crater in the south and Zu Chun-ji Crater in the southwest. To the north of Leonov Crater is the Sea of Moscow [2] . Selenographic coordinates of the center of the crater , diameter 34.0 km [3] , depth 2.1 km [1] .
Leonov Crater has a circular shape with a small protrusion in the northwestern part and is moderately destroyed. The shaft is flattened and marked by many small craters. The shaft height above the surrounding area reaches 950 m [1] , the crater volume is about 770 km³ [1] . The bottom of the bowl is flat, dotted with many small craters, has no noticeable structures.
