Zenit won the title for the third time, defeating the railroad in a penalty shootout.

Date and Place
Initially, two versions of dates and places were proposed - July 12 in Russia [2] , or December 18 or 19 abroad [3] . On June 23, at a meeting of the Premier League clubs, it was decided to hold a match in Khimki on July 12, 2015 at the Khimki Arena stadium [4] . However, the Premier League was unable to negotiate a rental price with the Khimki stadium and on June 25 the match was moved to the Petrovsky Stadium in St. Petersburg [5] [6] .

Lokomotiv
Loko, having beaten the Krasnodar Kuban in the final of the Cup of Russia with a score of 3: 1, got a ticket to the Europa League 2015/2016 and to the Russian Super Cup 2015.
