Paunküla Reservoir ( Est. Paunküla veehoidla ) is a reservoir in Estonia in the upper reaches of the Pirita River. It was founded in 1960 [1] . It is connected by a channel with Lake Ülemiste [2] . Provides water to the city of Tallinn .

There are several islands on the reservoir. The total area of the reservoir is 447.2 ha, of which 415.8 ha is the water surface area and 31.4 ha is the island area [3] .
