A frequent change of environment taught Alla Kupreichenko to study and accept the new, gradually expanding her horizons. Life in the family of the chief engineer of a number of large coke-chemical plants in the Soviet Union probably contributed to the development of Alla Kupreichenko's sense of purpose and good organizational skills.
In 1969, the family moved to Moscow. At school, Alla Kupreichenko was an excellent student and repeatedly received diplomas for success in her studies with exemplary behavior. From the moment of graduation and up to 1991, Alla Kupreichenko has been working as a design engineer of the 3rd category at the Research Institute of Instrument Engineering.
The difficult years of perestroika, the period that followed the formation of a market economy, and the need for family care forced Alla Kupreichenko to change her field of activity.

Scientific Contribution

B. was engaged in the development of topics of economic self-determination (its moral regulation), social self-determination (research of the Russian middle class), moral self-determination (its structure and specificity, and also special works were devoted to the topics of the moral elite and the psychological foundations of morality and ways to strengthen it in society), the psychology of trust and mistrust (including trust in Internet communications, trust in an organization, trust in advertising), attitudes towards moral standards in business th interaction (for managers and employees), social and psychological space of the individual, work was begun on its social psychology of work (related to the different forms of labor), the psychology of altruism and prosocial activity of the person (in civil society studies). All these topics were interconnected: trust as a factor of distance in the socio-psychological space of the individual, moral self-determination as basic in relation to economic self-determination, etc.
In addition to many other publications, A. B. Kupreichenko owns 7 monographs. Her work is cited by about one and a half thousand times by scientists from various fields of science.
The most significant contribution of A. B. Kupreichenko to psychological science was a joint examination of the phenomena of trust and distrust and empirical evidence of their autonomy, rather than polarity, and distrust as an independent phenomenon was studied for the first time in science. A significant contribution was also made to the development of the problem of self-determination: for the first time, the principles of constructing empirical studies of this phenomenon were proposed, a level model of self-determination of a person and a group was developed, characterized by a systematic and universal nature, the correlation of different types of self-determination was developed, their hierarchy was built, new types of self-determination were empirically studied (moral and economic). This significantly advanced the scientific understanding of this phenomenon, and also laid the foundation for a large number of research works based on this concept.
The most promising for further development are the concepts of moral self-determination (its implementation in specific areas of activity), trust and mistrust (currently developing in the context of media trust), economic self-determination (in its moral aspect).
