(1912) Anubis is a typical asteroid of the main belt , which was discovered on September 24, 1960 by the Dutch astronomers K.J. van Houten , I. van Houten-Gruneveld and Tom Guerls at the Palomar Observatory in Germany and is named after the Egyptian god Anubis [1] .
