Javin ( Hebrew יבין ; Yavin ; Yabin [1] ) - the name of the two Canaanite (Canaanite) kings of the city of Hazor (Hatzor).

The word "Yabin" has other meanings; see Yabin .
- Javin of Asorsky - oppressed the Jews in the time of the Judges by means of his cruel military commander Sisera , until he was utterly defeated by Deborah and Barak and killed by Jael ( Judg . 4: 5 ) [2] . Perhaps it was named after the first Javin, who in the eyes of subsequent generations symbolized the former military power of the Canaanites [3] .
