Club
He started playing football in Heilbronn , Germany, in the club of the same name .
From 1996 to 2000 he played for the Stuttgart Kickers . In the 1999/00 season, he became the top scorer of the 2nd Bundesliga , scoring 21 goals. After that he moved to Wolfsburg , for which he played until 2005.
