Biography
In 1880 he graduated from the Nalchik Mountain School. Having passed the exams in the Vladikavkaz classical gymnasium, he began to practice pharmacy. In Kharkov, he received the title of pharmacist assistant, then worked in one of Petersburg pharmacies. As a volunteer, he attended lectures of the medical faculty of Moscow University , where in 1890 he passed the exams for the degree of pharmacist [3] .
In 1894, in connection with the marriage adopted Orthodoxy [3] . He lived in Kiev , where he was a member of the “Club of Russian Nationalists” [4] . In 1914 he returned to Kabarda [3] .
In 1919, he joined the Volunteer White Army [3] . In March 1920, he emigrated to the west. Originally lived in Bulgaria, and then in France [5] and Italy. Died on January 25, 1945 [5] [6] .
Family
The wife (from 1894) is Anna Eliseevna Kudasheva (nee Kochenovskaya), daughter of a colonel of the Russian army [3] [6] .

The descendants of V.N. Kudashev now live in Germany and Canada [6] .
Scientific Activities
He showed great interest in the history of his people. Kudashev acted as a major historian, writing a generalizing work "Historical information about the Kabardian people" (Historical information about the Kabardian people). This work was published in Kiev in 1913, on the 300th anniversary of the royal dynasty of the Romanovs [5] .
He covered important issues: the ethnogenesis of Kabardians , their social and political system, the accession of Kabarda to Russia and its significance, the abolition of serfdom , etc. Before emigration, he was an active activist of the educational movement in the Nalchik district.
