Creation
After the creation of the museum of Kolomna pastila [3] , its head Natalya Nikitina decided to extend the experience of reconstructing the old way of life from a separate museum to the historic city center. Kolomensky Posad is distinguished not only by its unique concentration of monuments (one fifth of the cultural heritage of the Moscow Region [4] ), but also by the integrity of the urban environment, which has preserved elements of the traditional way of life of the 18th – 19th centuries. (private house, front garden , fence , gate , courtyard, garden, vegetable garden, outbuildings, amenities). In 2009, Nikitina created the project Museum Posad. New life of the old city ”for a comprehensive interdisciplinary study of the territory of Kolomenskiy Posad [4] . In the same year, the project won the VI Grant Contest of the Vladimir Potanin Charity Fund “A Changing Museum in a Changing World” in the author's nomination. Philologists, historians (including Alexei Mazurov ), museum designers, architects, cultural experts, sociologists and designers were involved in the project. Their task was to create a figurative field of Kolomenskiy Posad, to identify and describe its artifacts for the subsequent scenic area [4] . Based on the results of research and discussions, the type of future museum was defined as a living museum, incorporating forms of museum activity in the modern urban environment. Thus, the idea of creating the Useful Museum of Russian Economy on the historical territory of Kolomenskiy Posad took shape and strengthened.
Useful Museum of Russian Economy
This project involves the creation in the space of the historical city center - Kolomensky Posad - a quarter of museum complexes, each with its own urban profile - Yamskoy , wine trade, manor , bishop, garden , voivodship , etc. Thanks to the combined efforts of researchers and architects-designers on the territory Kolomna Posad was allocated 14 museum complexes, based on the traditional specialization of the farm and related historical brands : Kolomna Kremlin , Kolomna pot, Kolomna turnip, Lazhechnikov , Kolomna honey, Kolomna garden, Kolomna verst, etc. [4] .
Projects
The core of the City Museum project is the Kolomenskaya Marshmallow Museum.
The next part of the project was a museum factory, which allows visitors to get acquainted with the open pastoral production of the late XIX century. , taste, see and participate in theatrical activities, visit the memorial rooms of the former owner of the factory of the merchant P.K. Chuprikov.
At the same time, a museum garden is being established on the territory of the factory, popularizing the old traditions of growing, collecting and storing apples. Two museum shops are opening: a candy store and a gardening shop.
Later, a guest house was created with historical interiors, services and a program of a "really lived life" in an authentic environment of a merchant's estate.
As a result, in 2008 - 2009 two museums were opened on the territory of the historical center of Kolomna, a tourist route and programs were developed, a wasteland, which is now decorated with art objects of the artist Nikolai Polissky , was landscaped, a "dying" architectural monument was restored, in which the museum was opened, the publication of a travel guide for Kolomna was launched and its surroundings [5] .
In 2011, the Artkommunalka Museum was opened dedicated to the Soviet Kolomna of the 60s and the work of the writer Venedikt Erofeev [6] .
In 2014, the Iznachalya Museum “This money is Kolomski” was opened, which, using the numismatic collection, tells the history of Russia in the era of the heroic struggle for freedom and independence and liberation from the Horde yoke [7] . In the near future, it is planned to open the Museum of the Circle Yard, where they will produce cider from Kolomna apples [8] .
The entire environment of the "Museum City" is being developed taking into account accessibility for the disabled [5] .
Business
For the effective functioning of each of the planned museum projects, each is an independent business unit with its own infrastructure. Together, they constitute a branded business chain that combines interconnected types of businesses to create added value for a basic tourist product developed on the basis of a historical brand.
New jobs have been created for residents of the city: currently more than 150 people work in the Museum City. [1] Education within the framework of the Useful Museum of Russian Economy of similar business chains should turn it into a kind of “museum holding ” with an extensive infrastructure of museum mini-manufactures, mini-hotels, craft workshops, shopping arcades, gardens, greenhouses, actualizing the traditional lifestyle of the Russian provincial city and having great social effects [4] .
Results
Thanks to the creation of the cluster, the total tourist flow to Kolomna has tripled. Currently, visitors to the Museum Factory of Kolomna Pastila are recorded six months in advance: in 2014 alone, 41,448 people visited Kolomenskoye Posad [1] .
Rewards
In 2010, the project won the Regional Competition of Social Entrepreneurship Projects in 2010. In 2015, the head of the organization, Natalya Nikitina, received the “Impulse of Good” award for contribution to the development and promotion of social entrepreneurship in Russia in the nomination “For a systematic approach to social entrepreneurship” [1] .
