Biography
He entered as a novice in the Slavsky Assumption Monastery .
During the Second World War he served in the army.
On November 21, 1951, he was made a reader by Bishop Vladimir .
On November 8, 1953, in the church of Demetrius of the Solunsky village, Slava Cherkesskaya was ordained deacon by Metropolitan Tikhon .
On August 28, 1972 he was elevated to the Protodeacon by Bishop Ambrose and remained Protodeacon until the death of Ambrose.
In 1981 he was ordained a priest, in the same year he took monastic tonsure with the name Leonid.
On October 23, 1981, Archbishop Joasaph (Timothy) was ordained bishop of Slavsk [2] .
March 11, 1990 participated in the ordination of the Bishop of America Justin [1] .
In June 2000, he retired and lived in the Assumption Slavsky Monastery, where he died on January 17, 2002 [2] . Buried in a monastery necropolis.
