A one-story mansion with a mezzanine and a four-column empire-style portico was built in the 1820s. It was rebuilt in 1873 according to the project of architect Mikhail Klimentievich Puzyrevsky and in 1914-1916 according to the project of Sergey Egorovich Chernyshev . The mansion belonged to the Moscow dynasty of confectioners Abrikosov .
The building currently houses the press office of the Foreign Intelligence Service (Public Relations and Media Relations Bureau of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation).
In 2010, a Kimu Philby memorial plaque was installed on the building [1] .
