Biography
Member of the CPSU (b) since 1930. In 1935 he graduated from the Ural Forestry Institute . Since 1938 he was at the Soviet and party work:
Until February 1938 - Head of the Department of Labor and Quality of Plant No. 164 [1] ( Syzran, Kuibyshev Region ),
- 1938-1939 - Secretary of the Syzran City Committee of the CPSU (B.),
- in 1939-1940 - the responsible organizer of the Human Resources Department of the Central Committee of the CPSU (B.),
- in 1940-1941 - the second secretary of the Arkhangelsk Regional Committee of the CPSU (b),
- in 1941-1945 he served in the Red Army , a participant in the Great Patriotic War , [2]
- in 1945-1946 - second secretary of the Arkhangelsk regional committee of the CPSU (b),
- in 1946-1948 - Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Arkhangelsk Regional Council,
- in July-November 1948 he worked in the Central Committee of the CPSU (b),
- in 1948-1955 - First Secretary of the Arkhangelsk Regional Committee of the CPSU (b) -KPSS,
- in 1955-1960 - First Secretary of the Vologda Regional Committee of the CPSU,
Since November 1960, he worked in the apparatus of the Central Committee of the CPSU.
Member of the Central Committee of the CPSU since 1952. Member of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR 3-5 convocations.
After the death of I.V. Stalin, he supported N.S. Khrushchev and retained his position. [3]
After retiring, he lived in Moscow. He died in 1970 in Moscow. He was buried in the columbarium of the Novodevichy cemetery (section 133-34-3) with his son Viktor (1932-1992). [four]
