Elvira Anatolyevna Arsalia (born 1978 , Gudauta ) - member of the government and Minister of Culture of the Republic of Abkhazia ; member of the Union of Artists of Abkhazia , member of the Union of Designers of Russia, laureate of the State Prize named after D.I. Gulia.

Biography
Born in 1978 in Gudauta.
She graduated from the faculty of clothing design at the Ufa Technological Institute of Service of the Moscow Academy of Life and Services with a degree in artist-stylist.
She worked as the director of the Central Exhibition Hall of the Union of Artists of Abkhazia . As a costume designer, she worked on the design of performances at the Abkhaz State Drama Theater : “The Daughter of the Sun” N. Tarba , “Egg” by Erdman, “If I Could”, S. Chkadua, “Shore of the Sky” by T. Guero, “Down from the Mountain Morgan ”A. Miller.
She taught at the Department of Fine Arts at the Abkhaz State University .
On October 15, 2014, by presidential decree No. 243 she was appointed Minister of Culture of the Republic of Abkhazia [1] .
Exhibitions
The author of several solo exhibitions in Abkhazia, participated in exhibitions in Russia, France, Jordan, Turkey, Syria.
Rewards
- 2002 - first place in the nomination "ART - design" at the competition of young designers of the South of Russia "Fashion Season 2002",
- second place in the nomination “Revival of the national costume” for the collection “Amizantsky” at the competition “Ethno Erato” in Moscow, House of Nationalities,
- 2003 - second place in the international competition of designers "IGLA".
- In 2009, she became a laureate of the contest "Best Artist of the Year".
