Nuh Abdul-Galim Ramazanov ( August 21, 1884 - 1914) is a Kazakh translator of the early 20th century [1] .

Biography
He was born in the second aul of the Baskudyk volost of Pavlodar district of Semipalatinsk region in a family of cattle breeders [2] . Graduate of the Semipalatinsk gymnasium (June 2, 1906). On January 13, 1907, in the Omsk newspaper “The Voice of the Steppe” [3] (according to other sources, in the 77th issue of Irtysh dated October 26, 1906 [4] ) an open letter was published by the leader of the Steppe Territory Alikhan Bukeikhan under the heading “Open Letter Kyrgyz Semipalatinsk and Akmola regions ". In it, he called upon his kinsmen to help with the means for entering and training at St. Petersburg University a Kazakh young man from the family of a poor man Nukh Ramazanov, who was refused his repeated appeals to the Semipalatinsk regional governor and to the governor-general of the Steppe Territory with a request to enroll the fellow in one from Russian universities [3] .
Nuh Ramazanov originally studied at St. Petersburg University, where he was a law student. In February 1907 he transferred to the first course of the law faculty of Tomsk University [5] .
In October 1909 he entered the Moscow Lazarev Institute , which he graduated on June 7, 1913. He was fluent in Arabic, Persian, and Tatar languages.
He wrote a biography of Abai Kunanbayev [6] , translated some of his poems into Russian (“Aul at Night”, “Poet”, “Pity Me”). In addition, he translated into Russian the novel by M. Dulatov “Unhappy Zhamal”, the poem “The Old Life of the Kazakh People”, “The Kazakh Lands”.
He died young after a long illness in 1914, the exact date of death is unknown.
