Career

Mamute began his career at the Gremio club at the age of 11, after being discovered by the municipal project Social Soccer Club. In 2007, he won the city’s champion title among his peers, in which he scored 33 goals in 14 games, after which they began to pay a salary of 550 cruzeiro, and his mother, Valdirena, who raised three children alone, was given a job as a team [5 ] . In 2011, he made his debut in the main team in a friendly game with the club " Kashias " [6] . On October 8, he played the first official match at Gremio with Coritiba (0: 2) [7] .

In 2012, the club’s head coach, Wanderlei Lushemburgo , several times let out the striker in the first team, but the player had problems with weight and could not compete with other Gremio strikers. As a result, he mainly played in the youth squad. The next season he played more often, but still irregularly. His performance in the youth team Gremio brought him attention from the head coach of the Brazilian youth team, Alexandre Galo . With this team, Mamute won the tournament in Toulon , where he became the second scorer, scoring 2 goals, and the Brazilians won the champion title [8] .

In 2014, Gremio extended the contract with Mamute until 2019, after which he leased it to Botafogo until June 30, 2015. In 19 games, the striker scored 1 goal in 19 games, hitting the goal of Ceara . Then he went, as part of the youth team to the youth championship of South America , but there the Brazilian team failed, and the player himself played 8 games and scored 1 goal. At the end of 2014, Botafogo, due to financial problems, was forced to “get rid” of part of the players, including Mamute [9] . So the striker returned to Gremio. In the opening game of the Brazilian Championship 2015, the forward scored two goals, hitting the gate of the Ponte Preta club.

In 2015, it became known that Moscow Spartak [10] and Dynamo Kiev [11] were interested in Mamut.

On January 13, 2016, Mamute was leased to the Greek Panathinaikos for six months.

At the beginning of 2017, it was rented by the Kazakhstan club " Aktobe ".
