Biography
A peasant in the village of Verkhny Karachan of the Upper Karachansky volost of the Novokhopersky district of the Voronezh province. Received primary education. The owner of the mill. Engaged in agriculture. Low-land, had only 20 square fathoms. The political position is βto the left of the party of people's freedomβ [1] . He described himself as a "non-partisan socialist." Member of the peasant union [2] . In the elections, he joined the Constitutional Democratic Party.
On April 14, 1906 he was elected to the State Duma of the 1st convocation from the congress of commissioners from the volosts of the Voronezh province . Non-partisan. He participated in the debate on the agrarian issue, proved to be a supporter of the rejection of specific, monastic and private property lands and their transfer to communal land use on an equal footing. He declared that "only those who cultivate it themselves without wage workers" should use the land [3] ; landings, land purchases with the help of the Peasant Bank, resettlement and the like were considered measures insufficient.
The fate and date of death is unknown.
