The station was built under the name "Schakova" ( German Schakowa , Polish. Szczakowa ) in 1847 , when this territory was part of the Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria . Then at the station was located the railway border crossing Shchakova- Myslowice from the Austrian Empire to the Kingdom of Prussia , in addition, since 1848, also the railway border crossing Shchakova- Border from the Austrian Empire to the Russian Empire .
