Biography
Born on October 31, 1934 in the village of Olishkany , Orhei district (now Sholdanesti district ) of Bessarabia (now Moldova ). In 1952, after graduating from high school in the village of Olishkany, Georgy Munteanu entered the Republican Art College named after I. Repin (now the Republican Art College named after A. Plamedyale) [4] , who graduated with honors in 1959. In 1964 he entered the Kiev State Art Institute (now the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture) , at the department of monumental painting in the studio, which was led by academician Tatyana Yablonskaya .
Professional Activities
Immediately after graduating from the Republican Art College. I. Repin George Munteanu began a vigorous teaching activity at once in four educational institutions of the capital of Moldova. In 1959-1960 he became the first teacher of specialized disciplines at the City Children's Art School. Schuseva, Chisinau. In 1960-1964 he opened a branch of the City Children's Art School. Shchuseva at Boarding School No. 1, Chisinau, and became the first teacher of specialized disciplines at this school. In 1960-1964 he founded and taught specialized disciplines in the city evening art studio, Chisinau. And from 1959 to 1964 he taught specialized disciplines at the Republican Art College. Repin (now the Republican College of Art named after A. Plamediale), Chisinau . After graduating from the Kiev State Art Institute from 1970 to 1976, he continued to teach at the Republican Art College named after Repin (now the Republican College of Art named after A. Plamediale), Chisinau . In 1972 he joined the Union of Artists of the USSR. From 1976 to 1980 - head teacher of the Republican Children's Art Boarding School. I. Vieru, Chisinau. And from 1987 to 2009, the teacher, head. department, methodologist, head. methodical cabinet in specialized disciplines at the Republican Art College. A. Plamedyale, Chisinau.
