History

The company was registered in 1998, initially its members were teachers of the Architectural Lyceum, but gradually the ranks of the company were replenished by representatives of various professions. The main activity of the organization in the early years was to conduct environmental seminars and events, but over time it gained a wider outline.

In 2001, the organization won a tender for the Regional Center for the ROLL “Institute for Sustainable Communities” charity program from the USA. Financial support was provided by the Eurasia Foundation, and funds were also received through the ESD (Winrock International Institute) entrepreneurship development program in the Far East. The Ford Foundation, which supported the project to intensify the artel business in five settlements of the Khabarovsk Territory, and the United States Agency for International Development , which helped to promote a program for the collective implementation of civic initiatives at the municipal level in six regions of the Far East, can be considered important investors of the company.

The first director of the organization was Olga Petrova. In 2003, she was replaced by Tatyana Korobenko, and then Sergey Pleshakov headed the Green House.

Since 2011, the company dealt mainly with rural development and rural tourism, and also helped villagers start entrepreneurial activities [1] . In 2012, she received an award at the Impulse of Good competition for a systematic approach to social entrepreneurship [2] .

As a result of the implementation of the Green House projects, by 2012, an additional 200 jobs and more than 100 households, 15 cooperatives appeared in the region, and about 300 agricultural enterprises increased their incomes [2] . So in the village of Aleksey-Nikolskoye they began to develop rural tourism, tourists are attracted by the products of local cheese factories: the project was called "Cheese Cheese Factory" [3] . And in the village of Dormidontovka began to hold a popular festival of jam [4] [5] , which allowed to attract additional funding to the village. In the Vyazemsky district , rural investment forums are held annually at which regional entrepreneurs engaged in the field of folk crafts and agriculture meet. These forums also address investment issues. Similar events are held in the villages of the Bikinsky district of the Khabarovsk Territory and Pozharsky District of the Primorsky Territory. The organization helped local communities create rural cooperatives and agricultural enterprises, and came up with ways to attract customers.
