Geography

The village is located in the east of the Muromtsevo region on the left bank of the Tara River at the confluence of the Mordovian River [2] 46 km east of the village of Muromtsevo .

Climate

The climate is sharply continental, with significant temperature differences in winter and summer, according to the Köppen classification of climates, it is humid continental with cool summers (Dfb). The long-term rainfall is 439 mm. Most precipitation falls in July - 71 mm, the least in February - 15 mm. The average annual temperature is 0.1 C [3] .

History

The village of Nizovoy was founded in the interval 1782-1795 by state peasants from different volosts of the Tara district as part of the Bergamak volost . In 1808, it already had 45 residential buildings. In 1842, the invasion of the peasants of the Gorodischevsky district of the Penza province was noted, in the 50s a new group of immigrants from the same province arrived.

January 1, 1869 the village became part of the formed Malo-Krasnoyarsk volost.

In 1898, the Tikhvin Fair was established from June 20 to 23, and in 1901, the Lukin Fair from October 18 to 23. In 1899, two private butter factories were opened. In July 1901, an artel creamery was organized. In 1909, three factories worked in the village, in 1913 - one artel and three private factories. In 1909, in addition to dairy plants, the village had a water mill, an oil mill, a forge, a bread store, one liquor store and three manufactory and grocery shops [5] .

In 1922, the village council was elected. In 1923, a dairy artel was organized. In 1927, a mechanical creamery began to operate, based on a pre-revolutionary base. In 1929 the collective farm “New Way” was organized. In 1937, organized by the MTS. In 1944, a pottery workshop for the production of dishes was opened. In 1950, a collective farm was attached to the local collective farm. Stalin (village Nadezhdinka), in 1961, on the basis of the local collective farm and a number of neighboring farms, the Nizovsky state farm was organized [5] .
