Geography
The village is located at the confluence of the Kaiba and Latat rivers. A highway (a branch of the P400 highway) passes through Malo-Zhirovo from Tomsk , then (at Bolshe-Dorokhov ) it is divided into two - in Asino and in Zyryansk .
History
It was founded in 1801. In 1926, the village of Malo-Zhirovo consisted of 190 households, the main population being Russians. Administratively, it was the center of the Malo-Zhirovsky Village Council of the Novo-Kuskovsky District of the Tomsk District of the Siberian Territory [3] .

Social and Economics
In the village there is a leisure center, elementary school, library, feldsher-midwife station and health-rehabilitation institution [11] .
There are several private entrepreneurs working in the field of agriculture and retail.
