The Brtonigla community is located in the western part of Croatia in Istria .

Previously, Brtonigla was part of the Bue community, located north of Brtonigla. The community includes the following settlements (population data for 2011) [1] :

Attractions
- The Catholic Church of St. Zeno was built in 1859-1861 on a foundation dating from around 1480 [3] .
- Scarlini Natural Park - 2 km from Brtonigla, named after the eponymous stream that flows into the Mirna River.
