The village of Lyussov is located approximately 12 kilometers northwest of Anklam , 18 kilometers south - east of Greifswald , and is also 21 kilometers away from Volgast in the south-west direction and 5 kilometers east of Gyutskov .
Along the southern border of the community, the Pene River flows.

The community is part of the Eastern Front Pomerania region . Until January 1, 2005, Lussov was part of the management of Amt Gützkow ( German: Amt Gützkow ), but is currently subordinate to the management of Amt Züssow ( German: Amt Züssow ), with headquarters in Züssow .
