Geographical position
Rubkov is located 8 kilometers north of Anklam , 12 kilometers south - southwest of Volgast and 24 kilometers southeast of Greifswald .
Administrative Division
The village is part of the Eastern Front Pomerania region . Until January 1, 2005, Rubkov was part of the management of Amt Ziethen ( German: Amt Ziethen ), but is currently subordinate to the management of Amt Züssow ( German: Amt Züssow ), with headquarters in Züssow .
