Biography

Born in 1969 in the village of Aksai, Khasavyurt district. By nationality - Kumyk . Father was a very famous man in Dagestan, Hero of Socialist Labor . [1] . Ali received the fighting name of the Wise for his manner of behavior in the ring.

He played for the team of Kyrgyzstan. He was very popular in this country [2] .

In 1992, the honored trainer of Kyrgyzstan Alexander Voinov invited him to the team in the famous Hermes-Profi sports club, whose pupils have repeatedly become world kickboxing champions [2] .

Ali Porsukov was killed on November 1, 2002 in Bishkek. Together with a group of athletes, the athlete returned home after training. Suddenly, a man with a pistol appeared on their way, who shot six times. All bullets hit Ali. According to the investigation, the bullets could be "intended for someone else." According to the Kyrgyz Interior Ministry, the athlete was not seen in connection with the criminal world [2] . The athlete himself constantly whispered on the way to the hospital: “For what?”

Hermes-pro head coach Alexander Voinov moved the body of Porsukov to Makhachkala [3] .

He was married, had two children [2] .

On June 28, 2012, a kickboxing match was held in memory of Ali Porsukov. The fight was held in the framework of the international kickboxing tournament according to K-1 version [1] .
